The UNV IPC86CEB-AF18KC-I0 is a 12MP NDAA-compliant OmniView fisheye camera designed to monitor an entire room or open area from one mounting point. It delivers up to 4000 × 3000 resolution, 360-degree panoramic viewing, multiple hardware and software decoding layouts, 15-meter IR illumination, heat-map analytics, built-in dual microphones and speaker, two-way audio, alarm I/O, RS485, MicroSD storage up to 512GB, PoE, IP67 weather protection, and IK10 vandal resistance.

One Camera for Full-Room Coverage
A ceiling-mounted fisheye camera can view the full surrounding area without the mechanical movement of a PTZ. Compatible software and recorders can dewarp the circular fisheye image into panoramic and virtual PTZ layouts, allowing operators to inspect different portions of the scene while the original full image remains recorded.

Fisheye Dewarping and Recorder Compatibility
If you plan to use the dewarp feature, verify recorder compatibility before ordering. Some older recorders may not support fisheye dewarping, panoramic layouts, or virtual PTZ control. For example, certain older UNV NVR302-series recorders may have limited or no support depending on the exact model and firmware version.
Panoramic and virtual PTZ layouts depend on the viewing software, recorder, firmware, mounting mode, and decoding method. Third-party recorders may record the original fisheye stream but may not support every dewarped layout, virtual PTZ function, heat map, audio feature, alarm function, or smart event. Confirm fisheye-camera and dewarp support before ordering.
Installation Recommendation
For the most balanced 360-degree view, mount the camera near the center of the monitored area and keep tall shelves, hanging signs, beams, and walls from blocking the lens. Select the correct ceiling, wall, or table mounting mode in the camera settings. Confirm IR reflection, mounting height, audio privacy requirements, PoE budget, MicroSD access, and recorder dewarping compatibility before final installation.
