Why this recorder
High-Bandwidth 16-Channel PoE Recording
The NVR502-16B-P16 is designed for professional surveillance systems that need direct PoE camera connections, high-resolution recording, flexible storage and reliable remote access without requiring a separate PoE switch for the first 16 cameras.
16 Independent PoE Interfaces
Connect and power up to 16 compatible IP cameras directly from the recorder using IEEE 802.3af/at PoE.
320Mbps Incoming Bandwidth
Provides substantial network capacity for multi-camera systems using higher resolutions, frame rates and bitrates.
Up to 16MP Recording
Supports recording resolutions up to 16 megapixels, depending on camera, codec, stream settings and available recorder resources.
Dual Independent Displays
One HDMI and one VGA output support independent display configurations, with HDMI resolution up to 4K.
Two-Hard-Drive Storage
Two SATA interfaces support large-capacity surveillance storage, disk groups, redundant storage and RAID 1.
ANR Storage Protection
With compatible cameras, Automatic Network Replenishment can backfill video to the NVR after a temporary network interruption.
Smart Camera Events
Supports compatible camera-side analytics such as intrusion, cross-line, vehicle detection, people counting and video metadata.
Third-Party Camera Support
Supports mainstream ONVIF Profile S, G and T cameras plus RTSP, subject to third-party compatibility and feature limitations.
Built for Professional Surveillance Systems
Strong bandwidth, 16 built-in PoE ports, dual-drive storage, independent display outputs and extensive alarm connectivity make this recorder a practical choice for commercial systems requiring reliability and room for higher-resolution cameras.
16-Channel Synchronous PlaybackReview up to 16 supported channels at the same time.
RAID 1 SupportMirror compatible drives to improve storage redundancy.
8 Alarm Inputs / 2 OutputsIntegrate supported external sensors and alarm devices.
Remote User CapacitySupports up to 128 remote users under suitable network conditions.
Ultra 265 CompressionHelps reduce bandwidth and storage requirements with compatible UNV cameras.
Cloud Upgrade SupportSupports compatible cloud-based firmware upgrade workflows.

Important PoE Notice
This recorder includes 16 built-in PoE ports. Confirm that the total PoE power consumption of all connected cameras remains within the recorder’s maximum PoE budget. High-power PTZ, heater, illuminator or specialty cameras may require additional power planning or an external PoE switch.
Hard Drives Are Not Automatically Included
Unless the product listing specifically states otherwise, surveillance hard drives are sold separately. NSI Security can supply compatible surveillance-grade drives and may offer optional HDD installation, formatting and testing before shipment.
Third-Party Camera Compatibility
ONVIF and RTSP support do not guarantee access to every advanced feature. Third-party cameras may require manual configuration, and analytics, audio, alarm functions, motion events, smart search, firmware management or plug-and-play setup may be limited. Verify compatibility before ordering.
